Dress for Success!

DRESS CODE
At GCA we "dress for success" maintaining the standards of dress and appearance appropriate to serious academic pursuits.The dress code encourages pride in self, concern for others, and pride in school.All students are required to wear a uniform shirt unless a special dress-down day is announced by the principal.

Boys Dress Code:
Uniform shirt with logo. Pants must fit and be neat (not full of holes, covered with writing and pictures, badly frayed or otherwise judged to be inappropriate by the school.) Short pants must be finger tip length when standing and be neat (as above). Shoes must have a non-slip sole, be closed toe, have a heel strap at least.
Girls Dress Code:
Uniform shirt with logo. All bottoms (slacks, shorts, skorts, skirts, etc.) must fit and be neat (not full of holes, covered with writing and pictures, badly frayed or otherwise judged to be inappropriate by the school.) Skirts and short pants must be finger tip length when standing and be neat (as above). Shoes must have a non-slip sole, closed toe, and have at least a heel strap.
JEWELRY:
Excessive jewelry is distractive, can be a safety issue and is discouraged. Jewelry should be limited to simple watches, ear rings, finger rings, bracelets and necklaces. Piercings (other than ear rings for girls) are not permissible. |
